MOH UAE Overview
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is the government body responsible for regulating the healthcare sector in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring that healthcare professionals meet the required standards of competence and conduct to practice legally in the UAE. Unlike DHA (Dubai Health Authority), which governs Dubai specifically, MOH oversees healthcare services for all other emirates in the UAE.
To practice in the UAE under the MOH, healthcare professionals must undergo the licensure process, which involves:
- Primary Source Verification (PSV)
- Credentialing.
- MOH Exam
Once licensed by the MOH, healthcare professionals are authorized to practice in the UAE, including for both public and private hospitals.
Steps Involved in MOH UAE DataFlow and Exam Registration
1. Primary Source Verification (PSV)
The Primary Source Verification (PSV) process is essential to ensure the authenticity of your credentials before proceeding with the licensing exam in the UAE. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOH UAE) requires candidates to undergo PSV through the DataFlow Group.
Details about PSV:
- What is verified?
- Educational qualifications (degrees, diplomas).
- Professional licensure or council registration.
- Good Standing Certificates (GSC).
- Work experience certificates.
- Duration: 45–60 working days.
Process:
- Submit required documents through the MOH application portal.
- The DataFlow Group contacts issuing authorities to verify the authenticity of documents.
- Once verification is completed, a PSV report is issued and shared with MOH.
