DOH -Abu Dhabi

GCC DataFlow & Exam Registration

DOH Overview

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) is the regulatory body responsible for overseeing healthcare services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE. It ensures healthcare standards are maintained across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals. DOH offers licensure to healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and others.

In order to practice in Abu Dhabi, healthcare professionals must be licensed by DOH after meeting qualifications and passing the licensure exam. The registration process includes document verification (PSV), credentialing, and exam registration, as explained earlier.

Steps Involved in DOH DataFlow and Exam Registration

1. Primary Source Verification (PSV)

This is a crucial step where your documents are verified for authenticity by the DataFlow Group. Verification ensures compliance with the Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations.

  1. Submit required documents through the DOH application portal.
  2. The DataFlow Group contacts issuing authorities for verification.
  3. Once completed, a PSV report is shared with the DOH.

2. Credentialing

Credentialing is the assessment step where DOH verifies your eligibility to work in Abu Dhabi based on your qualifications, work experience, and PSV report.

Credentialing Overview:

  • Purpose: To ensure candidates meet the DOH’s standards for healthcare professionals.
  • Duration: 10–15 days after PSV completion.
